Use of premises: 

Renting La Bergerie allows you a maximum capacity of 6 people. You cannot exceed this maximum capacity during your stay, even for the day, except after specific request and with the owner’s agreement.

You are staying in a forest habitat, it is important to ensure that you respect the peace of this environment day and night. Littering and general disrespect for the wild estate will not be tolerated. Please reduce noise in the garden and by the pool after 10pm.

BBQs and fireworks are forbidden due to the fire safety risk that they pose. The firepit is available for use from 1st October through to 30th April.

Please also note: The manager of the property reserves the right to visit the house at any time to attend to pool maintenance and garden/house tasks to ensure the safety of all guests.

Confirmation of the agreement:

The booking is confirmed once the Guest has sent the Owner a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total price of the stay, and this amount has been received and verified as the correct amount in Euros. The guest is responsible for any banking fees incurred.

Booking Payment:

50% of the price of the stay at the time of making the booking.
50% of the price of the stay 28 days before the arrival date of the stay.

Security deposit:

A security guarantee of 1000€ will be automatically collected on the day of your arrival and returned on the day of departure after the inventory of fixtures & fittings has been checked and confirmed. 

Cancellation by the guest:

A full refund is offered for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 28 days away.

Up to 28 days before arrival the stay may be modified or postponed within 365 days of the original booking date, subject to the property’s availability and seasonal price adjustments.

From 28 days before arrival, the balance of the stay becomes due. From that date, no refund or modification will be possible.

Cancellation DUE to Force Majeure:

Because your booked dates are held exclusively for your group and cannot easily be resold at short notice, the first payment is non-refundable.

In the event that circumstances beyond either party's reasonable control make the stay impossible to proceed with - including serious natural events, government restrictions, pandemics, major travel disruption or other circumstances qualifying as force majeure - La Bergerie will work with you in good faith to find a reasonable alternative, which may include transferring the booking to alternative available dates.

Any such arrangements will be subject to availability and the specific circumstances of the length of your booked stay.

By proceeding with your booking you are deemed to have agreed to the above conditions of hire.

Check-in & Check-Out:

Check-in: 4pm-6pm

Check-out: 10am

Late check-in is charged at an additional cash fee as follows:

6pm-8pm 50€

8pm-10pm 75€

10pm-12am 100€ (check-in after midnight is not possible).

Payment of the late check-in fee is strictly cash upon arrival.
