Like many of us, my entire adult life has been spent dreaming of a simpler pace away from the stress, the desk job and the city. I sought a place where calmness and stillness are the natural backdrop for the daily work of crafting enchanting interior and exterior spaces for guests to enjoy. This is the magic I found at La Bergerie, I truly love it and I hope it shows.
Growing up on a self-sufficient farm in rural Suffolk, I knew early on that a deep affinity with nature has the power to nourish, to heal and to center and calm the soul.
I’ve come to realise that the best things in life aren’t things, but the meaning, memories and treasured time we spend in nature with those we love.
I spent many happy weekends as a young girl building dens in the woods, crafting homely spaces for friends, family and beloved pets to enjoy. I want you to experience that same wonder and enchantment and nothing makes me happier than to bring that to you at La Bergerie.
